Changeover Day
Friday is changeover day. Rentals start from 4pm on Arrival Day until 10am on Departure Day.
Heating, Linen, Firewood, Basics etc
All heating, light and linen are included in the price. Some firewood is provided for the wood-burning stove. The towels I provide are not for outdoor use. There are beach towels available for £1.50 per towel (this is what it costs me to launder them) and you can order them when you book your week. You should find loo paper, soap, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, washing powder and dishwasher tablets (i.e. some basics) in the flat when you arrive. A travel cot and high chair are also available.
Car Parking
The house is on a pedestrian cobbled walkway and there is room for 3 cars to park against the sea wall. This is on a first come first served basis but I have always found space. If these three slots are taken, you can park on Shore Street which is free of charge. You can also unload your car in front of the house prior to parking. Please be aware that if you are renting during the Winter and Spring and it’s stormy, the sea can easily come over the wall and damage your car (I know from bitter experience!).
